Violation catalogue

Parking fines

Parking violations in the federal schedule. Municipal and paid-parking charges are a separate system run by each emirate and are not part of this table — where a row could be confused with one, it is marked.

The full table

Every description here is our own English gloss

The federal schedule is written in Arabic, and this site does not publish an official or certified translation of it. The description column is our own plain-terms gloss of what each row covers, marked as one on every row; 16 of 122 of them are the wording the rate payload itself carries and the rest are written for this site. The figures beside them — the fine, the black points, the impound period — are the language-independent facts, and they are what the citation under this table is a citation to. Where a gloss and your notice disagree, the notice is the document that binds.

Background

Federal parking rows, and the charges that are not on this table

The rows here are the parking entries of the federal violations schedule — the ones that penalise stopping or leaving a vehicle where the traffic rules do not allow it. They are national figures and they behave like every other row in the schedule: a fine, and wherever the annex states them, black points and an impound period beside it.

What is NOT on this table is the paid-parking system each emirate runs — the tariffs, the zones, the meters and the charges for overstaying a paid session. Those are municipal arrangements administered locally, they were not part of the federal corpus read for this site, and a page that mixed them into a federal table would be quietly presenting two different systems as one. If your notice came from a parking operator rather than from a traffic authority, this table is not the one it was issued under.

Where a parking row does carry an impound period, the routes out of it are the general ones the resolution provides for any impound, and they are set out with their unresolved ceiling question on the impound calculator.

Where these figures stand

Draft for review. Every figure on this site is transcribed from a named primary instrument and carries its citation, but none has been signed off by a reviewer of record yet — and a very recent amendment may not be reflected. Where the law itself is unresolved, this site says so rather than choosing an answer. The binding amount is the one on your own notice.

Every figure carries its instrument, its article or annex row, and its effective period.
